Namaste dear friends and students of yoga

We are really doing this… we are having up-days, down-days and all the many different variations in between, but we are doing it and you are not alone (can’t help but think of the micheal jackson song here!). Seriously though, this is really important to know. That despite staying at home, isolation, being catapulted out of our routine, approaching everything so differently – that we are all in the same boat, we are united in facing this challenge, and here in the background I am here for you with yoga should you need me.

We had a full week of online ZOOM yoga classes last week and i’m blown away by the response. The biggest and most powerful out-take from last week for me, was just how much we needed the emotional release. So many of you contacted me after the classes, saying you experienced a huge and very positive emotional release. We are all squashing feelings down in this process, and the yoga let’s it safely come up, and it brings balance back in. The emotion will continue to ripple up and down, the yoga will continue to be there for you.

So we are moving into week 2 of these online classes, and if you would like to try it, or you know someone who you think would benefit, be it a family member, a colleague, a neighbour… please spread the word of what I’m doing to help them be steer their way through this turbulent journey.  

Here’s what I’m doing and how it works

  • I’m currently teaching 4 live weekly yoga classes a week, see my schedule here: http://www.adelewills.co.uk/classes-bookings

  • You click the book now button on the website above, and it takes you to my booking site, here you select the class you want to do, pay £5 and that’s the booking part done

  • Once booked on you’ll receive an email (usually the day before the class goes live) and in that email is a link to the live session with your password

  • If you want to book, pay and catchup on the video later you can do, as the video is saved to the iCloud that same night 

These practices help to keep you grounded in these unsettling times by focussing on your inner calm. My style of teaching means the yoga offered is suitable for all abilities, mat or no mat, experience or no experience, just find a space take a deep breath in and out, and give some time to your precious self. 

Enjoy the perks of doing this at home… be comfy, move freely and easily, have blankets, cusions, cosy socks for relaxation – let this become your weekly you-time ritual for self-care.
